***Deadline for submission Friday 5 November 2010*** Started in 1999 by the Design and Technology Association Trustees the D&T Association Excellence Awards gives professional recognition to individuals for their contribution to design and technology education. Award Categories
With the exception of Category 3, nominations can only be made by D&T Association members, using the attached form. Category 3: Subject Leadership – nominations can be made by the nominee’s head teacher (but the referee must be a member of the D&T Association). Nominees do not have to be members. A list of previous award winners is available on our website. The D&T Association trustees and executive consider the nominations and select the award winners based on the information provided on the nomination form and subsequent references. All award winners and their guests (one per winner) will be invited to the annual awards ceremony in London on Friday 4 March 2011. The cost of travel to the awards for the winners and their guests will be covered by the D&T Association, apart from Category 7, where the Association will make a contribution towards travel for recipients and their guest.
