NAAIDT welcomes these proposals as they provide Design and Technology with a sound foundation on which to build a quality experience for all children.

The Draft Programmes of Learning for 'Scientific and Technological Understanding' contains the proposals for Design and Technology although there are many opportunities to work across all areas of learning.

NAAIDT will be working closely with The Design and Technology Association and others to produce a detailed response to this report as well as offering advice and support in the preparation for implementation in 2011.

Consultation begins today and runs through to July 24th 2009.
We encourage all members to respond.
