Finding your way around this web site

Click on the drop down boxes at the side and select the sections you are looking for, this will narrow it down the more buttons that are pressed.

For example, if you were looking for information relating to the new National Curriculum at KS3, you would open up the Teaching and Learning section to select National Strategies and also choose Key Stage 3 from within the Age Range tab. This will bring up all site content to do with KS3 National Strategies, listing the most popular ones first.

Clicking on Home at any time will deselect all choices and allow you to start again

There is also a search field in the top right hand side of the front page where you can type in a key word from the document title that you are looking for and this will search and find the relevant document - e.g. Packaging.

Search the web site for information on:

  • Advice and support for all aspects of design and technology in schools.
  • Guidance on Health and Safety.
  • Information about accommodation requirements for design and technology including advice on 'Building Schools for the Future'.
  • Examples of good classroom practice plus help on creating a successful scheme of work for design and technology including the much acclaimed DT Online web site.
  • Resources for design and technology from approved suppliers through the NAAIDT online 'shop'.
  • Opportunities to explore design and technology learning materials online.
